Today is deadline day… The Governor has until midnight tonight, Sunday, September 30th, to sign or veto all the bills passed in the 2012 legislative session. He has already taken action on 717 bills through the course of September, including dozens yesterday and earlier today– but there’s a few dozen bills left.
Among those are the bills to further implement the Affordable Care Act in California, including the insurance market reforms to ban pre-existing conditions, and the setting of essential health benefits.
