CHRISTINE SMITH (she/her) is a Policy and Legislative Advocate for Health Access California. Christine previously worked as a Policy Analyst at the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence advocating for the needs of domestic violence programs and survivors. Christine received her Masters in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco with a concentration in health care and her B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley.
Prior to her work in the domestic violence field, Christine worked in the health care space as an Associate Health Policy Analyst at the California Rural Indian Health Board, as a Program Assistant at Sierra Health Foundation and as a Community Affairs Coordinator at the California Consortium for Urban Indian Health. Christine is an enrolled member of the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians. Outside of health policy advocacy, Christine enjoys spending time with her partner and daughter, dog and two cats. She is also a quilter and soccer player.
