ZION COBB (he/him), Office Administrative Coordinator, joined Health Access in 2024. Zion is a Sacramento native, and very proud of it. Prior to this role, he worked for a non-profit in Oakland called Beyond Emancipation as an Education and Career Coach where he supported foster and probation youth with enrolling in school, finding employment, and overall, being a mentor to the marginalized youth he served. There he learned many operational planning skills, collaboration through relationship-building, and handling various programs at one time.
Zion moved to Berkeley in 2018 to complete his Undergraduate degree in Political Science and African American Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, Zion is pursuing higher education at Sacramento State’s Masters in Public Policy and Public Administration program. He has a passion for affordable housing, K-12 education, and social service policy. Zion loves spending time with his family, watching his Raiders and Kings, and supporting his community any chance he can get.
