KIT BEAR (They/Them), is Health Access’ Digital Communications Specialist. Kit graduated summa cum laude with their B.F.A in Graphic Design from Sacramento State in May of 2022. While attending school, Kit worked as a graphic designer for Sac State’s ASI, a student-led non-profit which provides equitable support to folks in higher education. There, and with other organizations including CalPERS, Decarcerate Sacramento, GRIDS Sac State, and Weird City Coffee Roasters, they were able to cultivate their skill and passion for designing socially meaningful content. As a neurodivergent, non-binary, trans person, Kit values equity, inclusivity, and diversity, and strives to elevate such messages through their work.
