Back in session…

The California Legislature is back, reviewing bills in Appropriations Committee, as we head toward the final four weeks of legislative session. All bills must pass the final floor votes and the full legislature by the end of August. If they do, then Governor Jerry Brown has the month of September to sign or veto the bills.

As Pauline Bartolone of Capital Public Radio reported, there are over a dozen bill to implement and improve the Affordable Care Act, putting in place the key consumer protections and provisions in place to be ready for 2014.
