As we approach the 2nd anniversary of the Affordable Care Act, President Obama’s re-election campaign is being more aggressive in promoting the benefits of the new federal law.

There’s a new series of YouTube videos, Faces of Change, that spotlight various people who have taken advantage of the new options and protections under the law.

This one is of Spike Dolomite Ward, a Californian who was disillusioned by the President, until she realized the new law would save her and her family from financial ruin. Diagnosed with cancer, she now is one of the thousands of Californians on the state-run, federally financed Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Program (PCIP):

There are other powerful videos in the series worth seeing, with more to come. One gripping one is “Life Without Limits,” about a young infant who almost reached the lifetime cap on her coverage-a cap that is no longer allowed, because of the Affordable Care Act.
