I accidentally ended up on The National Review Online website today, where I accidentally stumbled upon this article, intriguingly teased as: “Pay or play” health insurance is a step towards single payer.
Hey, we think that too! We’re on the same page as The National Review?
So I read the article and now I feel compelled to call out some of their points:
cites $ figure for coverage, but uses employer data. That wouldn’t reflect what Americans would actually have to pay since people would be using their tax credit to search for coverage on the individual market, which is way more expensive than buying insurance as part of a group.
